Program Description

The theatre program at Snow College is built to encourage growth in many areas. Because students are involved with carpentry, costuming, and color theory as well as plentiful performance opportunities, our department prepares students for a career in theatre by exposing them to a wide array of experiences. Students enjoy a vibrant, creative, and supportive atmosphere as they explore the world of theatre performance and production.

Program Requirements

A student who completes an associate degree in Theater will be able to do the following.

  • Become generally competent artist/practitioners both in production and performance.
  • Develop an understanding of industry standards and basic professionalism.
  • Demonstrate practical, intentional application of theoretical skills and traditions.
  • Critically evaluate and assess elements of theatre/live performance created by themselves and others.
