Program Description

An associate degree in Strategic Communication equips students with foundational skills in media writing, public relations, digital communication, and audience engagement. Graduates learn to craft persuasive messages,  and analyze media impact across platforms, preparing them for entry-level roles in marketing, PR, or corporate communications.

A student who completes an associate degree in Strategic Communication will be able to do the following.

• Employ communication theories, perspectives and principles
• Create messages appropriate to the audience, purpose and context

The requirements below will earn you an associate degree, but Snow offers other prerequisites that you will need for your bachelor's degree. Students are encouraged to more fully prepare for transfer by completing the suggested plan of study.

To earn an AS in Strategic Communication at Snow College, students must complete 60 credits, including the general education requirements and the following major requirements.
