Program Description
Visual Arts is a dynamic program designed to provide students with a holistic understanding of art which fashions the world around us. Learn the fundamentals of creative process, discover new practices through the lens of art history, and explore a spectrum of creative mediums in the studio. Snow College Visual Arts enjoys a long history of excellence in teaching demonstrated by successful transfers where students excel at the top of their class. Our graduates work in the creative industry as studio artists, educators, animators, graphic designers, and more.
Program Outcomes
A student who completes an AA or AS in Art will be able to do the following.
- Demonstrate a proficiency in materials and techniques.
- Demonstrate the application of the creative process.
- Demonstrate an integration of conceptual principles.
- Demonstrate fluency in historical content and context.
- Demonstrate the ability to critically analyze a work of art.
